Bert’s Big Adventure is a special trip designed to provide families a magical weekend at Walt Disney World. These families have children, aged 5 to 12, who are experiencing a chronic or terminal illness, live in the Bert Show listening area and have a proven financial need. The Georgia Securities Association is a proud sponsor of this event for the last two years.
This trip is much more than the experience of hugs from Mickey, awe-inspiring shows or the honor of being Grand Marshals in the Magic Kingdom Main Street Parade. It is the opportunity to provide these families the gift of time together; a chance to escape hospitals, protocols, intense scheduling and difficult daily challenges. At its very core, Bert’s Big Adventure offers these families time to create a legacy of memories in "The Happiest Place on Earth."
