Membership Information
GSA membership provides both local and national engagement in our industry. STA has more than 4,200 members in 26 Affiliates making it the voice for professionals engaged in the trading of securities. STA is a powerful conduit through which its members’ voices can be magnified and heard at the highest levels by those who make the rules, regulations and laws covering the securities markets.
Membership Information
Regular Member
- Those qualified people actively engaged in the securities business and firms licensed by the SEC and FINRA.
- Only Regular Members have voting rights.
- $100 per annum
Buy Side Regular Member
- Those qualified people actively engaged in the securities business and firms registered with the SEC.
- Only Regular Members have voting rights.
- No cost for full membership
Members who become unemployed, and who are seeking employment in the securities industry, will maintain full membership status without being required to pay dues or fees associated with membership for a period of 12 months, beginning with the date of termination of employment. Such privileges will include attending one annual Fall Outing without registration charge.

GSA Membership Benefits
- The Georgia Securities Association network: Georgia has a diverse and growing investment community. GSA holds many networking events throughout the year to foster relationships between industry peers, including our annual Fall Outing.
- Affiliate of the National Securities Traders Association: The GSA plays an invaluable role by providing feedback to the STA who works with our industry regulators to design and refine regulation.
- Community Benefactor: The GSA raises and donates funds to local non-profits to strengthen our local communities and to promote the financial industry statewide.
- Scholarships: Families of Georgia based GSA member firm employees are eligible to apply for college scholarships. The GSA annually awards merit based scholarships in the form of one-time grants that may be used for general academic purposes at any accredited college, junior college, university or graduate school.
